Two decades of community trust, one growing family of pharmacies — from Chinhoyi to Harare.
A single shopfront with a simple mission.
Established in 2001 in the town of Chinhoyi, Lomagundi Pharmacy set out with a simple goal: make trustworthy healthcare and everyday essentials genuinely accessible to the local community. What began as a modest dispensary quickly became a household name, known as much for its warmth and personal attention as for the quality of what's on its shelves.
Over the years, the pharmacy grew from a single prescriptions counter into a full department store of care — adding an Over-The-Counter section, an Optical section, dedicated Women's and Baby departments, and a Stationery corner for the whole family. Every addition was guided by the same question: what does our community actually need close to home?
From one Chinhoyi counter to two Zimbabwean cities.
Lomagundi Pharmacy opens in Chinhoyi
Founded on Magamba Way, the pharmacy begins serving the Chinhoyi community with prescriptions, medicines and everyday health essentials.
New departments join the shopfront
As the community's needs grew, so did the pharmacy — an Optical section, Women's Upkeep and Baby departments, plus a dedicated Stationery corner all became part of the everyday offering.
Forestal Machipisa Pharmacy opens in Harare
The same promise of care extends to Harare African Township, with Forestal Machipisa Pharmacy opening its doors early and staying open late — 7:30 AM to 10:00 PM — to fit around working families' schedules.
